Our Local Pub

Just up the road to St Pierre is our lively local Pub
L'Homme Vert run by an English couple Jenny and Jon. Tuesday evening is musical evening where anyone can join in so bring your own guitar or other musical instrument. They serve locally produced or more conventional beer. Jen is always happy to serve you a meal if you book ahead in time.
Our Local Village
Saint Georges is a pretty little village with the river Erve winding through it. From the 16th to the 19th century, water mills have taken their mechanical energy from the Erve for milling, tanning, fulling, paper production, sawmills and forges. The popular local restaurant is called La Forge. Pop in for a drink at the bar and practice your French. You can buy bread and cigarettes there too.
